Richmond’s repaired our grandparents grave which involved removing it from the cemetery, replacing the foundation, repairing the kerbs and then cleaning and replacing the grave. We found Richmond’s to be very professional and courteous in all dealings. Their work was completed to a high standard and to our complete satisfaction. Based on our experience we would not hesitate to recommend them.
I can’t recommend this lovely family business enough for all they done to make sure my nanas final resting place was as perfect as she was , when I went in and spoke to joes mam not long after we had my nanas funeral , she was the most kindest , lovely , welcoming woman who sat with me while I tried to figure out what to have on the headstone to sum up in words what my Nana meant to me ! Joe then took me down to the graveside to make sure the shape I chose for the picture fitted perfect and looked right! Nothing was ever too much of a bother and Joe even let me know the picture had been ordered I think it was literally the same day! My nanas name got added on to the headstone as she went in with my granda and same again Joe let me know it was back on and sent a picture to show how amazing it was! Through all the sadness and the awfulness of having this to do and sort out I couldn’t of chose a better family to go through as they are lovely and made a horrible time the best and less complicated it could be !! Thank you so so so much Joseph Richmond & sons memorials , I can’t even put into words how much I appreciate all yous done to ensure my nana and grandas headstone back in 1997 and now again in 2025 were perfect !!

I contacted Joe and explained my Grandparents memorial had been condemned as unsafe and asked if they could restore the very sad marble. They visited the cemetery and gave me an estimate within a few days and said they thought they could do something with the stone. We agreed the work and now it has been completed I am blown away at how good the stone now looks it’s as I remember it new all those years ago. I wish I could add a before and after photo as seeing is believing. Richmonds worked wonders and I would have no hesitation in recommending them, a no nonsense, honest experience.
