Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to Brick Lane Masjid Funeral Service, especially Shawkat Bhai and his entire team, for the exceptional care, compassion and professionalism they showed following the passing of our beloved mother. From the very first moment, they treated our family with kindness, dignity and genuine respect. During one of the most difficult times of our lives, they made us feel completely supported and looked after, guiding us through every step with patience, sensitivity and sincerity. What touched us most was Shawkat Bhai’s unwavering commitment to helping our family. Although our beloved mother passed away on a Sunday and the official registrars were closed, he went above and beyond by personally contacting the relevant departments and making special arrangements for all the necessary paperwork to be completed on a Sunday. Thanks to his dedication and determination, our mother was able to be buried the very next day, fulfilling our family’s wishes and the importance of a prompt burial in Islam. This was something we will never forget. The level of service provided by Shawkat Bhai and his entire team went far beyond our expectations. Every detail was handled with the utmost care, ensuring our mother was honoured in the most respectful and dignified manner. Their compassion, professionalism and attention to detail brought our family immense comfort and peace of mind during one of the most difficult times of our lives. Great friendly service, they explained the whole process and the options available. It was nice to be able to use the main masjid hall for the viewing with privacy. The whole day went Smoothly Alhamdulilah didn’t feel rushed, the staff were very accommodating and hospitable.
Today My beloved Nani was buried. I want to thank the Brick Lane Mosque and especially Shawkat Uncle for everything he has done for My Nani and family. Everything was smooth and done efficiently with the utmost respect and dignity deserving of my grandmother.
