Toilets closed before 4pm. Digital book of remembrance doesn't have my grandparents or late uncle in it despite being in the cemetery. Travelled 200 miles for nothing.

Recently attended a funeral service. All went according to plan so no complaints. However there's no signage as you drive in from Groby Rd if you go straight ahead there's a poor looking car park with a brick wall, but no signs directing cars to the chapels, or directions for disabled needing to park closer. Those in charge need to look at this from a first time visitors perspective. Signs don't cost much. I think there are better crematoriums.

Huge Cemetery and Crematorium. Performed a Zoroastrian Funeral Ceremony here today at the East Chapel. Staff is helpful and friendly. Maintained well.

This is a beautiful place to rock with music and I like to party with my grandma she loves it to she might be rotting in hell but at least she’s having fun 😎

My grandfather, grt aunt, my grandmother and my dad are all buried in one plot. My mum passed away 2018, I was able to place her urn and ashes in with my dad. Ive been going there for over 50yrs Now with the LCC cuts we have noticed that the cemetery is looking rather unkempt. Headstones have fallen due to trees and instead of laying them flat to preserve them they brace them or they go in landfill. area UU The rubbish bins have been moved & Some taps are no longer working.

A relative of our family was buried there in the Jewish section in April 2023 We don't live in England, so we saw the funeral ceremony on Zoom. The tombstone is still not ready, they are working on it so that it will be ready for the one-year memorial. But there is a plaque on the grave with his name and the date of death. Since then I've ben trying to look all around the web and at Gilrose Cemetery website for his name and the exact location of the grave plote but i can't find it anywhere. When we get there For the memorial on the first anniversary of the death we'll won't know the exact burial place!

They don't take care of any flowers left in the garden of remembrance, the grass needs cutting,my husband's service was Monday,I went back on Tuesday and my husband's flowers were all over the place I was devastated and disgusted,ok it may have been birds, but I was so upset by it,but what should I expect from a rushed service.
