John and his team provided excellent service in arranging my dad's funeral. John was personable and helpful and not at all pushy; communication was great and every member of staff I spoke to, both at the office and at the funeral itself, was courteous and empathetic. I highly recommend McGillivray to others.

Dont trust this organisation, as they let my sister take full control over everything and they were not interested in myself (the son or my neice) who are other family members, and there response about this matter clearly insults both me and my neice and my deceased dad,because I made contact with this organisation, they contacted my sister who verbally abused me in a message, nobody should trust this organisation as they have caused me so much grief that I even self harmed because of them stirring trouble

McGillivray's were absolutely brilliant during the long & harrowing process of getting our 6 month old graddaughter Sophie Kerr back from Paris where she had tragically died. Her very emotionally charged funeral was professionally organised and run. What stood out for me was the genuine kindness of the various people we dealt with, both on the phone and at the crematorium. Our family is extremely grateful to them.

I had my husbands funeral on 18th june 2020. Janet (wonderwoman) John and all the staff were absolutely amazing. Their care, professionalism, compassion, and understanding were second to none. They listened to everything I wanted and went above and beyond to give my husband his final journey one we will never forget...and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
