It regularly provides memorials and memorial renovations for families connected with cemeteries throughout Leeds, including Lawnswood Cemetery, Harehills Cemetery, Beckett Street Cemetery, Cottingley Hall Cemetery, Farnley Cemetery, and Hunslet Cemetery. The business provides a complete memorial masonry service including new headstones, lawn memorials, cremation memorials, kerb sets, book memorials, heart-shaped memorials, children's memorials, additional inscriptions, memorial cleaning and renovation, memorial re-fixing and repairs, and gold leaf and painted lettering.

M.A. Clarke & Son Memorial Masons undertakes memorial masonry that reviewers describe as carefully carried out and clearly explained from the outset. Richard is named frequently for taking the time to talk through possibilities, settle wording and match lettering or stone to an existing headstone, while Mark is also thanked for help with a family memorial. Restoration appears often, with headstones lifted, repaired in the workshop, then re-lettered, re-gilded or repainted before being returned with a fresh plinth and ground fixing; families are kept updated through photographs of each stage.

Inscriptions, kerb stones and cremation memorials are said to have been completed exactly as discussed, with faded lettering revived and new work blended into older stone. Charges are described as fair and sensible, messages are answered without delay, and the workshop is spoken of as a welcoming place to visit. Graves are left clean once installation is done, which comes up regularly. The feedback points to attentive advice, considerate handling of family requests and a finish that matches what was agreed.
