Anderson Maguire Shettleston

Sandra at the Shettleston branch was a superstar. Came out to the house as dad housebound to make arrangements. Explained everything, incredibly helpful, kept us informed throughout the process. Can not fault them in any way, unfortunately my dad had opted for a different company and the difference was astonishing. I would recommend Anderson Maguire to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to use them.

At a particularly difficult time, Anderson Maguire stepped in, and stepped up to make life for Mum's family so much easier. Sandra was a credit to the company and we commend her every effort to make the entire process so much easier for all of her family. She had a send off that she would have been so proud of, and I can honestly say her family were too. Thank You Anderson Maguire from the entire Conley Clan :)!

When my mum passed away we hadn’t thought of which funeral director we would use for this however we contacted Anderson Maguire and from start to finish they were fantastic. Sandra at the shettleston office talked us through everything step by step which was great and was always contactable by phone or email if I needed anything or had any queries. All the undertakers that I came into contact with, Owen & James were great, they showed us empathy & patience in such a difficult time.

On the day itself, Michael Owen and Paul and Mark were absolutely brilliant. They carried everything out with such respect, warmth and dignity. They were calm, helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly so we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. They listened to every detail, guided us through every step gently and never made us feel rushed or overwhelmed. They treated our late grandmother with the utmost care and honour, and made a heartbreaking situation feel just a little lighter. We felt truly looked after from start to finish — not just practically, but emotionally too. If you are looking for someone to trust during such a sad time, I would highly recommend them without hesitation. Thank you all so much for everything you did for us.

Throughout the most difficult time in our lives Anderson Maguire were a tremendous source of support and empathy. The calmness, the care and genuine desire of Sandra and Ishbel to carry out our wishes for dad's funeral didn't go unnoticed. The respect given to dad on his final journey was beautiful. Sandra arranged my husband's funeral perfectly. She spoke to our family professionally and with kindness and compassion. We knew that she could be trusted absolutely to make sure that everything would be arranged efficiently and as we wished. I had many questions between meeting Sandra and the day of the funeral: she answered all of them promptly and was extremely patient and helpful. On the day, Dom Maguire and the drivers ensured that everything ran as smoothly as possible, despite the storm. Their care, respect and professionalism was much appreciated.
