My father also took unwell during this time and their sensitivity around that was also very helpful to us as a family. We can’t fault this service at all in what I find in most services in terms of their lack of competence in this modern world, this impeccable service maintained good old school values and we’re flawless throughout. I would highly recommend Sims & Son as they have the full package.
Gordon and the team were excellent arranging my dad's funeral. They were friendly, professional, compassionate, and attentive throughout the entire process. They also arranged my mum's funeral in 2018, and the level of care and service was just as exceptional then. Losing a loved one is never easy, but having caring and experienced professionals to guide and support you makes a huge difference. I am very grateful for their kindness, attention to detail, and the dignity with which they handled everything during such a difficult time. Highly recommended.
Nicole and the team at sim & sons went above and beyond. They made the most difficult time for us stress free and we couldn’t be happier with the service provided and the beautiful send off we got, everything was perfect just as we wanted and Nicole helped us plan and adapt things to our preferences we really can’t thank her enough, I’m so glad I read reviews of the directors in the area which led me to sim and sons, they truly made everything so much easier than I expected and their compassion meant the world to us.
Blair was always very supportive and respectful. Nothing was too much trouble. He was very kind and warm whilst maintaining professionalism.

I contacted Sim and Son Funeral Directors after losing my dearest Dad in January. The arrangements were handled by Shona, Nicole and Gordon, all of whom acted with respect and professionalism in ensuring my late father had the best funeral we could arrange! I was well supported by their team through all the planning and preparatory stages and they were only ever a phone call away if I needed anything. Sim and Son gave my Dad the most dignified funeral service and I am extremely grateful for all their support and care.
