A massive thank you to Natalie Dixon who is a shinning gold star in a time of darkness. Natalie went up & above the call of her duty when I arrived unexpectedly from London with a big suitcase in tow, bless her she was so kind even though she was very busy & made sure I got a taxi to my hotel. The day of the funeral I was blown away by how beautiful the service was and the kindness of all the undertakers that sad day 🕊

We would just like to say a big Thankyou to everyone at Bannon & Sons funeral directors in Gateacre who recently did our Mums/ Nans funeral. Natalie, Sarah and Laura are such lovely and compassionate souls, Mum was looked after and the room was nice. Michael ( tall) greeted us all outside mums and wore a blue tie as mum is a blue, he then walked in front of mums hearse for as far as he could, Michael then bowed to my mum which really touched us. Michael showed mum dignity and compassion on her final journey which we will always remember. The same dignity was shown at the crematorium. The only negative thing we found is a lack of communication, but apart from that they are all lovely people . Thankyou John Brown Colette & Chris Dale & families xxxx

So much care shown throughout.from all Staff. No time was too much time . Michael walked the hearse so far along the Road it wss so special and touched us so much . Thanks so much Elaine and family you really are the best Funeral Directors I’ve seen we were lucky to have you .

Excellent service from start to finish from Sarah and Michael. Ours wasn't a straightforward funeral because the next of kin lives in the USA. Bannons overcame all of the potential problems prior to the day of the funeral. The actual funeral was managed in a dignified and efficient manner by Michael. Thank you so much.

We recently suffered the loss of an elderly relative. He had passed away at a nursing home during the early hours of the morning. We received the news and immediately contacted Bannon’s. I had expected to speak to an answer machine at that time, but spoke to a staff member who was both compassionate and professional. Within the hour we received a very comforting call that our loved one was now in the care of Bannon’s. Later the same day we met with Natalie at Gateacre. She explained everything and helped us through the arrangements with care and sensitivity. On the day of the funeral Michael greeted my family and I at the the crematorium. He was reassuring to my wife, and put her at ease. The funeral service was conducted by a celebrant, Val, who did an excellent job. Many thanks to Bannon’s who made a difficult time so much easier.
