I was originally going to use the funeral directors stonemasons for my late Mom's headstone but a friend told me to try Heartlands Memorials. Went to see them and described what I wanted. They took all details and told me leadtime was 6 months which was much better than I had expected. The price was also better about £200 cheaper and all wording included. Headstone came a few weeks late but in time for Mom's first anniversary and it was beautiful. We were asked to go check the wording and it was placed as agreed. We went with Tropical Green with carved Lillie's and gold writing and it looks stunning. Thank you Terry and team, you have made my Mom's finally resting place look beautiful and I can not thank you enough. Would highly recommend. Ava xx

Appalling service. My friend contacts this company to get a memorial for my late uncle and she gave an outline for the wording to get a price. We agreed the price but just wanted to change the wording. We tried for nearly a year to get Terry to confirm the correct wording before we paid and despite numerous emails phone calls he couldn't manage it. He and they made an upsetting situation even worse.

No fancy brochures, website or sales talk, just plane straightforward and honest workmanship, and very professional and courteous throughout my order. They dealt with the council and paid all the costs the council insisted on. They insisted that I check the wording before the headstone was cut, to avoid any mistakes. We are really impressed with the headstone, which was installed within the agreed timescale. Terry and Kevin provided the right level of support and guidance, explaining their charges and those of the council (who are paid a lot of money for doing nothing. Hiighly recommend.
