I would highly recommend John Bardgett and Sons to anyone who needs to organise a funeral. From the very first meeting Louise was wonderful, very supportive and nothing was too much trouble for her. Having never arranged a funeral previously, Louise was an absolute godsend, guiding us through everything that needed to be done including things such as arranging a celebrant (the wonderful Kate Reed) which we had no idea of how to. Thank you to the whole team at Bardgett's for supporting us through this difficult period.
Louise and the team at John Bardgett & Sons were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. During such a difficult time, Louise guided us through every step of the funeral planning process with care, compassion, and professionalism. She took the time to explain all the options clearly and shared her experience to help us create a service that truly reflected our wishes. We also want to mention Gee, the Humanist celebrant, who delivered a heartfelt and beautifully written eulogy. It was incredibly meaningful and a perfect tribute. We’re very grateful to everyone involved for making such a challenging time a little easier and would most definitely recommend Louise and the rest of the team at John Bardgett & Sons. As soon as I informed Dignity Funeral Services I was contacted by telephone and a lovely kind lady called to see me. She asked how I was coping and keen to help me with anything I needed. Arrangements were made for the simple cremation and return of the ashes. All my questions and concerns were dealt with and I received regular telephone calls from Louise to see how I was getting along. The whole procedure passed smoothly. I have already recommended them to a friend who was thinking of getting a simple service. If you don’t want a big funeral and service etc I would definitely recommend Dignity funerals with John Bardgett.
The whole experience was handled professionally and sensitively. Communication from our funeral director Louise was excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending Bardgett & Sons. They made the arrangements very clear, provided all the information I needed and were very flexible in accommodating our wishes.
We came to Bardgetts without hesitation after having superb service in the past and, once again, it was absolutely the right decision. From the initial phone call, in those difficult early days, through the funeral itself to the aftercare, we were exceptionally well looked after. Joe was brilliant and able to offer me the perfect balance of care, compassion, respect, support and also light heartedness. At a time when you really nice the correct approach, you should look no further than this firm; everything about the whole experience was faultless. I would like to sincerely thank Joe and the team for helping us to give my mum the send off she deserved.
Joe Lannin arranged my aunt’s funeral and was absolutely fantastic. He was very helpful and caring throughout. Joe has also arranged plots for the internment of my aunts and other family members ashes. He had been on hand with any queries I’ve had throughout. Joe is a great asset to the company. My husband and I are now going to arrange funeral plans with Joe.
