I can't recommend the team at Skinner & Sons enough, Shaun & April in particular made arranging for my friend's funeral a simple affair and allowed me to fulfill his final wishes.
A truly caring family. I say family as they are all so lovely and caring, it doesn’t feel like a company is taking care of a loved one , it feels like a family are looking after you and your loved one. I felt at ease and every question I asked was answered. I didn’t realise there was so much to think about when organising a funeral but Shaun was able to help in every way. Every aspect of the arrangements was seamless and carried out with total care and respect for my mother. Everyone I interacted with from the initial meeting to arrange my mothers funeral to the actual funeral and then going to collect my mothers ashes were so kind and loving , I could not have asked for more at this time in my life . Thank you so much .

SE Skinner and son recently helped with my mother in law's funeral arrangements. She had made it to 100 years and therefore we wanted her final journey to be perfect. It was. Shaun and April guided us through every step, helping us to make the right decisions. They listened to our wishes and ensured the day was as we wanted and perfect for Ma. We have no hesitation in recommending them.
S.E.Skinner were appointed funeral directors by my mothers funeral plan. Throughout the whole process Shaun, April and Maria showed respect and kindness and were very helpful in changing our requirements and providing all the necessary information through to completion. The team at Skinners have been wonderful with my late Mother-in-law's funeral. We also used Skinners for my late father-in-law in 2023.
