My dad passed away unexpectedly recently. We had no clue about the process for this and were completely lost on what to do. Clifford’s made a stressful and difficult time feel manageable. Not only did they guide us through the formalities in the early stages, they carried out every step from the planning, to the execution of the ceremony, with the highest level of professionalism and care. It never once felt like a process and they made every effort to add a personal touch to everything we discussed. They are the also the kindest, most compassionate and empathetic people you could ever wish to meet. I cannot rate them highly enough. Would 100% recommend. They are amazing. I would highly recommend the clifford family, they had been amazing from the beginning to the end. My dad had passed away and we didn't have a funeral directors in place as we thought we had a little more time,someone recommended us to them. They had set up a WhatsApp group chat with the family and sent through brochures of different cremations and prices, they always kept us updated every step of the way. Having used Clifford’s for my dad funeral I can only say what an amazing family. From the minute you walk through their doors they guide you through everything, choosing what my dad rested in was easy as not bombarded with dozens of options, we chose the beautiful wicker coffin . They also have a WhatsApp group for you to add family to or whoever you need which is a brilliant idea to ping pong ideas or questions. I wound not hesitate to use or recommend them again. When the nurses at Mount Gould pulled me to one side and asked if the family had a chosen a funeral director for Dad, it became very real, very quickly. Mums only request was not to have a black hearse. I phoned around and found Clifford’s. Matt was excellent on the phone that night and our decision to use them was easy. They stepped us through the whole process of arranging the funeral and personalising it. There were so many decisions to make but it was made so easy with the decision sheet they issued us with. Communication was excellent using a WhatsApp group for all nominated family so it wasn’t left to one person to waste time info sharing. The funeral itself came together perfectly. We should all use local more and I would definitely recommend Clifford’s as plymouths local funeral directors. Thank you to all the team, you were excellent throughout.
