What a wonderful, caring and beautiful funeral provided by Des and his staff. Our every wish was attended to and thought put into every detail.
I would like to thank the team at Desmond McGuires especially James who helped me arrange my mother in laws funeral recently. This was made more complicated as I live in Dubai and I had no idea where to start. James was fantastic , ever so helpful and guided me through everything that was required and was always quick to respond to me at any time of the day or night. On the day of the funeral Desmond and his team was there to help keep us right on all protocols etc and it’s was lovely service and very professional. The offer of doubling £2300 we raised will make a huge difference to Glasgow the Caring City as they support families forced to flee their homes. We feel this surpassed kindness should be recognised. Desmond and his team went beyond my expectations.They made what was a heart breaking event, seamlesss and also given the current situation with restrictions they were still able to ensure that our mum's wishes were honoured. My mum passed away suddenly and the staff here looked after her within an hour or so of my calling. She was taken from her house in a coffin which was a very dignified way to make her final exit. Desmond personally attended. The care from Audrey and the sensitivity coupled with the professional dignity we received was exceptional. Can’t recommend or thank them enough
