I met Simon after my lovely brother passed away. Simon was the only member of the team that I really had contact with and he was kind, professional, caring and patient. He was sensitive and dignified. He guided our family through the process and was always willing to show us the options available to us, without pressuring us. He took such good care of my brother and was so supportive when we visited him. The more contact I had with Simon the more I was assured him and his team had done the best for us as a family. He made the hardest time of our lives as stress free as was possible, he always had time to speak with us and also gave us the time we needed to make decisions as a family. Thank you so much!
There are not enough words to tell you how amazing these guys are! From the 1st phonecall until after the funeral they have been faultless. Gone over and above with gentle kindness and a guiding hand. Honestly they made a heartbreaking experience just a little bit more bearable. I would only ever use these in future,for myself or any of my loved ones. Both father and son were so attentive and thoughtful xxx

From the outset the team at Waters & Sons went above and beyond to guide my family through a very difficult time. David was patient, attentive, and really listened to our wishes, whilst also offering guidance and suggestions where appropriate to ensure the care and service we and our loved one received was the best it could possibly be. The day of the service itself was expertly organised, and their support and understanding made us feel as at ease as possible. We are extremely grateful to Waters & Sons for looking after our loved one and helping give her the perfect send off she deserved. I would wholeheartedly recommend Waters & Sons to other families.
From the very first telephone call with David to the day of the funeral Waters and Sons have gone above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble and David was so thoughtful throughout. Hours after such a profoundly painful loss, and during one of the most intimate and pivotal moments of our lives, David, along with an associate, came to our Mum’s home to take her into their care. After losing our beloved Mum, at far too young an age, they showed us compassion, thoughtful care and David went above and beyond in supporting my distraught sibling. The care and compassion from them on that day was on par with the incredible nurses from Mountbatten. I can't stress how important, appreciated and much needed that was. I'm glad we chose them. They treated our Mum with respectful care. I feel that continued when she was in their care at Merryoak too. David helped us with arrangements. Our Mum wanted direct to cremation, rather than a traditional funeral. While this felt completely alien to us, it was her wish, and one which was carried out with dignity (I had read some horror stories online about companies offering this service! Alison answered any questions I had and calmed any worries). On the day of cremation, we went to the shore, one of her favourite places, and remembered her in our own way. While I hope to not need the services of Waters & Sons again, I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone that has the need, not just from a professional point, but because of their genuine compassion too.
