I and my family can not recommend O'Dwyers, and particularly Anthea, highly enough. From the initial contact on the night my husband died, all the way through to the cremation and beyond they have gone out of their way to support and make things as painless as possible. Anthea's advice has been excellent thoughout and has helped us to make the right choices. It feels odd to leave a review for a funeral director but equally unless you have had the experience of using one, how do you choose a good one without a recommendation? We would recommend O'Dwyers without hesitation.

We were recommended O'Dwyers and they went above and beyond when helping us make decisions for my husband's funeral. I was dreading organising this but they seemed to have a sixth sense. Claudette was brilliant with the planning, giving good advice as I needed a celebrant and a florist, who were each brilliant. Stuart and Alex were so kind and patient, explaining their procedures. They allowed us more time to say goodbye and be present if we wanted, despite it being a Saturday night, when they collected my husband from our home. Mark and the team were so lovely, many more people attended the funeral than I expected and it went very smoothly.

Service was second to none. From the day we walk through your front door, we felt welcomed, the care, compassion, and professionalism shown by Anthea and the team were exceptional. During such a difficult and emotional time, they guided our family with kindness, patience, and genuine understanding every step of the way. Your support went far beyond simple organisation — you showed real empathy and made an incredibly hard experience much easier to navigate.
