Hicktons from start to finish were truly amazing! Gayle is an absolute asset to the company , so calming , caring, patient , kind and compassionate with the right sprinkle of humour in an awful situation. Everything went perfectly on the day - Callum and his team were fantastic, so organised, respectful and patient checked in the day before to confirm the itinerary, made sure on the day that we was all ok throughout and taking away all the worry of the day. Can’t recommend this company enough ! Thank you all so much 🙏
I cant praise this company enough. They arranged my father’s funeral in 2025. Gail is an absolute credit to the branch, she is so softly spoken, thoughtful, patient and gave us the honestly and information we needed to hear. Callum and his team did a wonderful job on the day, everything went smoothly and perfectly timed, they were respectful, patient, smartly dressed and really thought of everything.

You are a credit to the company. We would walk into the shop it is spotless, get offered a drink . Gail would sit and Listen to us talk about dad even tho she didn't even know him . I would like to thank hicktons of Castle Bromwich especially Naomi and gayle for there professional manner in the way they helped my mother organise my step dads funeral arrangements nothing was to much trouble for them and this made my mom at ease at a sad time . And I would recommend them to anybody that needs a funeral directors
When we were looking at funeral directors to look after our Dad. Hicktons stood out with their caring and personal approach and nothing was too much trouble. They were so friendly and approachable to support us during our difficult time. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone.
A very big thank you to all the staff at Hicktons from the Cook family. Our whole experience from beginning to end was perfect. Roger was exceptional, so kind and caring. He truly felt like one of our family. We felt everyone at Hicktons went over and above in the organisation of Maggies funeral. Our family and friends cannot thank them enough for helping and supporting us at this difficult time.
Brilliant service from Roger and the team at Castle Bromwich. Very caring and respectful service. Always happy to help. Very professional. Nothing is too much trouble. Losing my Dad recently has been very upsetting. Everyone there have been amazing. Callum and the other lads were also very helpful on the day of the funeral. Put me and my family at ease at such a difficult time. Also, Debbi the celebrant was amazing with the service at the funeral. Very respectful.
