We chose Iain at Lomond as this was not only the cheapest Funeral Director that we called, but also the most responsive, and Iain was the only one who understood the difference between a non-religious and a humanist celebrant. Iain made considerable efforts to ensure we had the funeral that we wanted, and recommended great local companies for flowers and Orders of Service. Even the coffin is made by a Scottish company! He also recommended John Jack, a non-religious celebrant who delivered a first class eulogy. Iain returned the ashes to us personally the next day and I have no hesitation in recommending this modern, great value and sensitive company. I had no worries on the day, I knew we were in good hands with Iain and Amy, and I am 100% satisfied with how things went. I previously used a large funeral company and they didn't put the flowers on the coffin, so that always left a bad memory. Iain and Amy were on the ball throughout. Iain is exceptionally trustworthy, and definitely puts service before profit.

The service that we received for our late Mums funeral from Lomond Funeral services was excellent. This was from coming to the family home to discuss arrangements to the day of the funeral. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Iain and his colleagues for the care and respect that they gave my family throughout this difficult time, from allowing us time to go to the Garden of remembrance to pay our respects to late family members. During this difficult time, Ian came out to visit and arranged everything for us. On the day of the funeral, everything went smoothly, Ian and his staff were so helpful and caring and nothing was too much trouble for them.
